Modern society is experiencing an ever-increasing pace of change, and this is particularly so when it comes to modern working and the cyber and electronic worlds. As much as this has brought, and will bring, great benefits and opportunities, it also brings significant risks, exposures and threats. Some of these are known and some may be unknown. For those in key leadership positions, as Board members or senior executives, there may be ‘known unknowns’ in this area (in terms of knowledge and understanding). With this in mind, this special IPA Governance Forum event was designed to help demystify issues in respect of modern cyber, data and information governance, and associated risks, and to help equip those in leadership roles to ask the right questions and seek the right assurances.
